The generous rooftop garden and various green spaces throughout the building were designed by Openwork landscape architects. There is a strong focus on Australian natives and durable plants suitable for the exposed rooftop environment and contributing to local biodiversity. These gardens provide an outdoor space for neighbours to come together to socialise, develop a deeper sense of community and improve health and wellbeing. There are spaces to enjoy quiet views of the city, drinks with friends and neighbours, outdoor dining or cartwheeling on the lawn.
The gardens support urban revegetation and a provide residents with a connection to nature. The broad variety of indigenous species provide native habitats for local birds and insects.
Each corner of the rooftop has a unique planting palette mirroring the four distinct communities that make up Wurru wurru biik.
